Boys Basketball

Results: Feb. 16 Pleasant Grove 61-47 Skyridge; Feb. 19 Skyridge 92-69 Lone Peak. Region 3-7; overall 14-8.

• Senior guard Duncan Reid had a record-breaking performance against the Knights, canning eight triples on the way to 43 points in the big victory.

Upcoming: Feb. 26 at 7 p.m. against the winner of No. 11 Cyprus (15-8) vs. No. 22 Syracuse (6-16). The state tournament continues through March 6.

Girls Basketball

Results: Feb. 16 Skyridge 47-39 Pleasant Grove; Feb. 19 Lone Peak 36-34 Skyridge. Region 7-3; overall 12-7. 

• Senior guard Jade Wallace led the effort against the Vikings with 13 points and six rebounds.

Upcoming: Feb. 25 at 7 p.m. against the winner of No. 10 Jordan (11-8) vs. No. 23 Granger (6-12). The state tournament continues through March 6.

Wrestling

Results: Feb. 19 Skyridge finished eighth in the 6A state tournament at Corner Canyon High School.

• Junior Joshua Millward completed his year-long quest by earning the state title in the 145 weight class. He was also named 6A’s Outstanding Wrestler.

Upcoming: The high school season is over but off-season activities will begin soon.

Swimming

Results: Feb. 20 Skyridge finished eight in the girls events and 17^th on the boys side of the 6A state meet, held at the Kearns Oquirrh Park Swim Facility.

• Junior Katelyn Andrist set new state records on her way to winning gold medals in both the 200-meter freestyle and 500-meter freestyle events at the state meet. She was also honored as 6A Swimmer of the Year.

Upcoming: The high school season is over but competition continues with club teams.
