Lehi City Streets Superintendent, Wade Allred, has been terminated from employment with Lehi City. Sources say the termination was due to alleged fraud. It was unknown Tuesday afternoon the scope or timing of the suspected crimes, but a source close to the situation said, “The loss is huge.”
Lehi City, through Assistant City Administrator Cameron Boyle declined to make an official statement, but Boyle said, “We don’t comment on personnel issues, but Wade Allred no longer is employed by the City.” When reached by the Lehi Free Press, Mayor Mark Johnson said, “I am waiting for the outcome of an ongoing investigation being conducted by the Utah County Sheriff’s Department.”
There have been no arrests made. An investigation is underway, and the story will be updated as more information becomes available.
