Ranae B. Lewis was born May 10, 1937. She was the youngest of seven children born to Albert and Ruth Bezzant. Ranae died peacefully at her home in Lehi on Feb. 4, 2017.
Ranae grew up in Pleasant Grove, Utah, surrounded by family and friends. She graduated from Pleasant Grove High School and later from Brigham Young University. Ranae married Don E Liston and together they had four children, Keri, Brian, Sheri, and Brett. They were later divorced. She married Calvin Lewis and together they had one son, Shawn.
Ranae taught third grade at Lehi Elementary for 25 years; she loved teaching and made many lasting friends. After retiring from Alpine School District, she went on to sell real estate for several years. Ranae loved to travel and spend time with friends and family. Her grandchildren were always in her thoughts and her heart.
Ranae is survived by her husband, Calvin Lewis, children Keri (Steve) Hansen, Sheri (Ted) Tomlinson, Brett (Munday) Liston, and Shawn(Jennifer) Lewis, 9 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, her brothers and sisters and her son Brian.
Funeral services will be held on Thursday Feb. 9, 2017 at Wing Mortuary, 118 East Main, in Lehi at 11:30 a.m. A viewing will be held 10-11:30 a.m.at Wing Mortuary on Feb. 9, prior to the funeral. Burial will be in the Lehi City Cemetery. Online guest book at wingmortuary.com.
