Preliminary Results: Wilson, Johnson, Look to Move Forward

Condie, Hancock, Holmes, and Williams look to move forward in City Council Race

According to preliminary results of the Lehi City Municipal Election found on the Utah County Election Results web page, operated by the Utah County Clerk’s office, as of 10:18pm on Tuesday, August 15, current Lehi Mayor Bert Wilson and Mark Johnson will move forward to the general election in November in the Lehi City Mayor’s race. Johnson received 614 total votes, or 24% of the vote. Wilson received 987 total votes, or 39% of the vote. Three candidates may be eliminated in the primary, Curtis Payne (285 votes), Cody Black (595 votes) and Nolan Johnson (40 votes). In the City Council race, one candidate, Steven Sabey looks to be eliminated in the primary election. Candidates who look to move forward at this time are Chris Condie, with 1,548 votes, Paul Hancock, with 1,314 votes, Bailey Holmes with 757 votes and Sean Williams with 460 votes.
The general election will also be conducted by mail-in ballot. General election day is Tuesday, November 7.
