Free and cheap summertime adventures in Lehi

Looking for things to do in your hometown this summer after the Round-Up celebration has wound down? Here’s a list of things to do to keep your family busy, all within Lehi City limits.

Outdoor adventures

Lehi City has nearly 30 parks to visit, including the new Sensei Trail for mountain biking and trail hiking.

The Jordan River Parkway Trail is popular for biking and walking and is the longest paved urban trail in the United States.  

Learning and Fun

Hutchings Museum has extended summer hours, with weekly animal shows, and the first Monday of every month is Family Night at the Museum.

Thanksgiving Point has various activities for the whole family. More information can be found at their website.

Get wet and cool down this summer

The Splash Pad at Ivory Ridge is now open. Monday – Saturday from 10 a.m. to 8pm.

Lehi Outdoor Pool and the Legacy Center Swimming Pool are open for fun in the sun. The Outdoor Pool opens at 11 a.m. and closes for general admission at 6:50 p.m. The Legacy Center Pool opens at 1 p.m. and closes at 8:50 p.m.

Special summer eats and treats

Food Trucks at Wines Park, every Wednesday evening from 5-8pm.

Lucky’s Hawaiian Style Shave Ice is very popular with locals, and has two locations in Lehi; one at 188 W Main Street, the other at 1178 W 3300 N.

Music and Performances

Arts in the Park offers free family concerts at Wines Park every Sunday at 7 pm, until August 18. Bring a blanket or lawn chair. Dancing is absolutely permitted, sorry Footloose. Lehi City Arts Council presents “Mamma Mia” Tickets available now for performances starting August 2.
