Boys Basketball

Results: Feb. 19 Timpanogos 77-74 (2OT) Lehi. Region 6-6, overall 13-8. 

  • Senior guard Tyson Hawkins posted a double-doubleagainst the Timberwolves with 25 points and 10 assists. He also had four rebounds and two stelas in this thrilling contest.

Upcoming: Feb. 26 at 7 p.m. against winner of No. 14 Viewmont (12-11) vs. No. 19 Wasatch (9-14). The state tournament continues through March 6.

Girls Basketball

Results: Feb. 18 Lehi 50-34 Timpanogos. Region 11-0, overall 18-3.

  • Senior twin sisters Maddie Warren and Macie Warren each surpassed the 1,000-point milestone for their prep careers in the past couple of weeks.

Upcoming: Feb. 25 at 7 p.m. against the winner of No. 15 Wasatch (9-11) vs. No. 18 Bonneville (6-10). The state tournament continues through March 6.

Wrestling

Results: Feb. 18 Lehi finished 12th in the 5A state tournament.

  • Pioneer sophomores William McCleary and Isaac Terrell earned fifth-place medals for their efforts at the state meet in the 182 and 285 weight classes, respectively.

Upcoming: The high school season is over but off-season activities will begin in a few weeks.

Swimming

Results: Feb. 20 Lehi finished 10th in boys events and 21st on the girls side at the 5A state meet, staged at the Wasatch Aquatics Center.

  • Lehi sophomore Bryce Broadhead earned the bronze medal in the 200-yard backstroke, improving his seed time by 1.52 seconds.

Upcoming: The high school season is over but club swimming will assist in preparation for next year.
