Miss Lehi’s Outstanding Teen, Nicole Thomson, is having a Lemonade Stand and Bake Sale to raise funds for the Children’s Miracle Network on Tuesday, August 15, from Noon to 3:00 p.m. at the corner of 950 West and 1500 North.
The Children’s Miracle Network raises funds and awareness for 170 member hospitals that provide 32 million treatments each year to kids across the U.S. and Canada. Donations stay local to fund critical treatments and healthcare services, pediatric medical equipment and charitable care. The Miss America organization has partnered with Children’s Miracle Network for many years. The contestant who collects the most money for Children’s Miracle Network will also earn scholarship money for her education.
Nicole Thomson has enlisted the help of her family and friends to provide mouthwatering treats for the Bake Sale. Her Aunt Stacie Beckstead will be making her famous caramels and Grandma Lawana Beckstead plans to make her Special K Bars. People are welcome to offer donations if they aren’t in the mood for a delicious baked good or a drink of lemonade in return. Come support our hometown girl and the Children’s Miracle Network on Tuesday, August 15!
