On Saturday, April 23 at the Utah Republican convention, currently serving Utah representative Jake Anderegg was elected as the Republican nominee for the Utah Senate, representing district 13, which includes Lehi.
Anderegg bested opponent Jimmy Eaton by earning nearly 75% of the votes casted by state delegates.
During the 2015 legislative session, Anderegg served on the business and labor and rules committees, and was vice-chair of the transportation committees. He is married to Julie, has four children and is originally from Sandy. Professionally, he is employed by Zion’s Bank. He holds an Economics degree from BYU and an MBA from Westminster College.
