Obituaries: Darlene Greenwood Pace

Loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister and friend, Darlene Greenwood Pace passed away September 10, 2016, due to a brain hemorrhage. She was born in Lehi, Utah, February 2, 1933, the second child of Mark and Opal Greenwood. She graduated from Lehi High School, attended two years at BYU, and retired from Office of Utah Family Support in Tooele.

Darlene married George Farren Pace, September 3, 1966. They raised 9 children: Craig (Susan) Johnson, Laura Lynne Pace Lee, Mark (Sue) Jordan, Dennis (Kathy) Pace, Rebecca (Craig) Jordan, Nancy (Charles) Smith, George (Shawna) Pace, Clayton (Komej) Pace, Annette (Brian) Zimmerman. She had 36 grandchildren and many great-grandchildren and is survived by brothers; Ken (Reta) Greenwood and Dennis (Sandra) Greenwood. Preceded in death by her parents, sister, Shirley Anderson and granddaughter Natalie Smith.

Funeral services will be held Friday, September 16, 2016 at 11:00 a.m. at Lehi South Stake Center, 600 South 500 West. Family and friends may call Thursday evening from 6-8 p.m. at Wing Mortuary, 118 East Main, Lehi, Utah and from 9:30-10:45 a.m. prior to the service. Interment, Lehi City Cemetery. Online guest book at http://www.wingmortuary.com.
