Overnight lane restrictions scheduled to begin April 9; construction continues through mid-July
The Utah Department of Transportation (UDOT) is scheduled to begin construction on Main Street and State Street in Lehi on Monday, April 9. On the east side of Lehi, crews will widen Main Street from Interstate 15 (I-15) to State Street, install a new signal at 1200 East and Main Street, and upgrade the signal and widen State Street at the Main Street intersection. The project will enhance safety and improve traffic flow for drivers in this heavily-traveled retail focused area.
Drivers are advised to plan ahead for daytime and nighttime work, overnight lane restrictions seven days a week and shifted lanes on Main Street. A four-day full closure of 1200 East at the railroad tracks east of State Street is scheduled for early May as the concrete pads and railroad signals are replaced. Detour routes will be properly signed for the duration of the closure. Businesses in the area will remain accessible during construction.
Construction schedules are weather dependent and subject to change.
