Skyridge softball coach Riley White auctioned off his strawberry blonde hair at the softball banquet held April 30 at Skyridge High School. The softball banquet and fundraiser had parents and friends digging deep in their pockets to raise money to build dugouts for the softball complex.
In a final effort, White agreed to have whoever won a bidding war buzz his head. The Stafford family made the top bid. The softball team gathered around as Makayla Stafford made the first swipe with the clippers. The haircut was done in good humor and White said, “I will just wear my baseball hat for a couple of weeks.”
