Water Problems Evaluated by Lehi City

Published

on

During this last week, Lehi citizens have noticed a reduction in water pressure in their pressurized irrigation service in certain areas of Lehi. The city informed the Lehi Free Press on Monday, July 11, the problem was an accumulation of debris and algae on the screen of the irrigation pond near the Lehi Water Department complex located in north Lehi. The city will pump water from the bottom of the pond for now until the screens are cleaned.

It was noted by Cameron Boyle, public information officer for Lehi City, that the city has hired an engineering firm to conduct an optimization study of the city’s water services. The study will determine deficiency or inefficiencies in the current system. The study should be completed within the next month and made available to the public.
