Ivory Ridge Swim and Tennis Club want to remind you about their Jr. Triathlon Saturday, August 13th at 10:00 a.m. at the Ivory Ridge Swim and Tennis Club located at 32 E Clubview Lane in Lehi.
The event provides a fun way to support the kids in their training as they’ve prepared for this triathlon, as well as a great way to support our Lehi Police Department. While sign-ups are over, residents are still encouraged to come out and cheer on the kids as they swim, bike, and run in their efforts to “TRI FOR THE K9”. Afterwards, there will be food trucks, raffles, and a silent auction. After the race a meet and greet with the police officers and their K9 partners will be held, including an opportunity to donate toward purchasing their new K9.
These police officers really care for these dogs as they form lasting bonds and relationships. Officer Jeff Smith and K9 Robbie have been partners for three years now after they went through five months of extensive training to be certified together. As of late April, Robbie has been diagnosed with health problems and will be retiring from the force this year, but will continue to live with Officer Smith and his family.
Don’t miss this opportunity to come together as a community to support our Lehi Police Department.
