The Utah Department of Transportation (UDOT) is scheduled to close 600 East at I-15 in Lehi on Friday, June 1, as part of the I-15 Technology Corridor reconstruction. 600 East will remain closed for up to six months as crews construct a new bridge at this location. Crews are scheduled to demolish the 600 East bridge at I-15 overnight Saturday, June 2, into Sunday, June 3. I-15 will close in both directions from Lehi Main Street to 2100 North to accommodate the work. Lane restrictions will begin as early as 10:00 p.m., and all lanes will be closed from midnight until 8:00 a.m. Drivers can expect heavy delays and should avoid the area if possible or plan for extra travel time.
The Lehi Rail Trail under I-15 will close in early June to allow crews to build a new bridge over the trail. This closure will be in place through late 2020 and is necessary for the safety of trail users and workers. Detour routes for all three closures will be properly signed and are available for review at udot.utah.gov/techcorridor. Construction schedules are weather-dependent and subject to change.
