Local fitness center owner and coach Kenny Knight is taking a group of five Lehi area competitors to the 2018 NPC Utah Classic Championship held at Cottonwood High School on Saturday, October 13. The all-day event will bring competitors from throughout the Intermountain West.

Knight’s team has been training for months to prepare for the NPC Utah Classic which features men and women in various body building categories. Knight will be entering a group of five competitors in the Men’s Physique and Women’s Bikini competitions.

“I’m proud of everyone on our team. They have all worked very hard to prepare for the event. It’s tough to get your body in this type of elite physical condition,” said Knight. All of Knight’s team are from the Lehi area and have been preparing for months getting in peak physical condition by lifting weights, implementing rigorous nutrition plans and preparing mentally as well.

Knight is recruiting more interested people to join Team Rage for these types of bodybuilding competitions. Those who are regular clients at Rage Fitness, located on Lehi Main Street, know about Coach Knight’s no-nonsense approach to fitness and weight loss. “There are no easy fixes,” said Knight. “The results of increased wellness and improved physical condition are worth the effort.”

Tickets to the NPC Classic are $25 at the door. Those interested in Kenny Knight’s coaching or in joining Rage Fitness can text or email Knight at rage.fit@gmail.com or (801) 358-2089.
